It's been two weeks since Uni started and the journey in becoming an interior designer is revealing to be more challenging and interesting than ever.
I've learned various skills in the past two weeks, from mapping to orthographic drawings; creative and technical skills.
However, the most interesting fact that I've learned is the discovery of the initial process of designing a space. I've never paid attention before to the fact that any space, before becoming real, are drawn out on paper by designers and architects millimeter by millimeter. Everything has a function and purpose.
This is a very simple fact that people might usually ignore, we don't perceive the space in its minimal details, which is a shame because if only we look closely and observe, the space around us has so many amazing details to offer!
Now that I've discovered this, I always walk around looking for interesting and bizarre details of spaces that I've ignored previously.
